Witnesses

Description:

This lesson discusses the importance of witnesses to an investigation and describes items to consider when identifying and interviewing witnesses. It identifies the purpose of the Miranda Rule as well as officer responsibilities and limitations as defined by the Miranda Rule. It also describes guidelines and critical factors to consider when preparing to interview a witness and proper procedures to follow while conducting the interview.

A minimum score of 70 is required to pass a test or graded assignment. Successful completion of all content, test and/or written assignments, and surveys is required to earn CEUs.
