The Right to Know and Hazardous Materials

Description:

This lesson discusses OSHA's Hazard Communication Standard (HCS) and employees' right to know the most current health and safety laws and regulations, as well as the requirements for labels, safety data sheets, and employee training.

Objectives:

RECALL workplace roles and responsibilities defined in OSHA's Hazard Communication Standard (HCS).

RECALL characteristics and examples of hazardous material classifications.

RECALL requirements for labeling hazardous materials and providing Safety Data Sheets (SDSs).

A minimum score of 70 is required to pass a test or graded assignment. Successful completion of all content, test and/or written assignments, and surveys is required to earn CEUs.
