Description:

This lesson provides an overview of the professional practices expected of child care providers. It includes the definition of professionalism, as well as measures to attain a professional reputation as perceived through the child care provider’s words and actions.

Objectives:

RECALL applicability of professionalism to the child care/early childhood education vocation.

IDENTIFY professional behaviors.

IDENTIFY actions to assess and enhance personal professionalism.

A minimum score of 70 is required to pass a test or graded assignment. Successful completion of all content, test and/or written assignments, and surveys is required to earn CEUs.
