It also helps child care providers learn how to prepare for emergencies and disasters. This lesson presents ways to shelter-in-place, lockdown, and evacuate. How to keep parents informed before, during, and after emergencies and disasters is also discussed.

Objectives:

RECALL how to prepare for and respond to different types of emergencies and disasters.

RECALL how to keep parents informed before, during, and after emergencies and disasters.

A minimum score of 70 is required to pass a test or graded assignment. Successful completion of all content, test and/or written assignments, and surveys is required to earn CEUs.
