Description:

This lesson discusses guidelines and procedures a protection officer should follow in the event of a fire. Topics include adhering to company plans, notifying the proper authorities and site occupants, evacuation, accountability, providing assistance, and preserving evidence. It also describes the types of emergency vehicles and their uses.

Objectives:

RECALL fire detection, warning, and evacuation procedures.

RECALL protection officer responsibilities for assisting emergency personnel including response vehicle types and access requirements.

RECALL guidelines for evidence collection at fire scenes.

A minimum score of 70 is required to pass a test or graded assignment. Successful completion of all content, test and/or written assignments, and surveys is required to earn CEUs.
