Description:
This unit describes characteristics of and discusses appropriate Emergency Medical Dispatch (EMD) responses to complaints of abdominal pain, allergic reactions, back pain, breathing problems, chest pain, convulsions/seizures, and diabetic problems. It also describes characteristics of and discusses appropriate Emergency Medical Dispatch (EMD) responses to complaints of headaches, heart problems, ingestion/poisons, psychiatric/behavioral problems, illnesses, stroke/CVA, and individuals down from unknown causes.
