Documenting Children's Behaviors

Description:

This lesson discusses the importance of documenting children’s behaviors. It also discusses methods of observing and recording behaviors, identifies appropriate tools and techniques, and explains analysis and interpretation of observations.

Objectives:

IDENTIFY benefits of documenting children’s behavior.

RECALL activities associated with documenting behavior.

IDENTIFY applicable observation and recording methods.

RECALL information that should and should not be included when recording observations.

RECALL measurements beneficial to analysis and interpretation of early childhood behavior.

A minimum score of 70 is required to pass a test or graded assignment. Successful completion of all content, test and/or written assignments, and surveys is required to earn CEUs.
